Every day in our community, families face the heartbreaking choice of whether they can afford food or life-saving veterinary care for their beloved companions. At Nevada County Pets In Need, a nonprofit, 501(c) (3),we believe no one should have to surrender or lose a pet because of financial hardship.
For more than a decade we have helped low-income families feed their pets and offered one-time assistance toward urgent veterinary billsโkeeping pets healthy and at home, where they belong.
What We Do with Your Help
This year we have helped hundreds of families and their pets with food and veterinary care with your help. So far, this year alone:
- Weโve spent more than $30,000 on veterinary emergencies for low-income members of our community.
- and $36,000 for helping families in need feed their pets.
To All of Our Supporters, We Say THANK YOU!
