GRASS VALLEY, CA, March 12, 2026 — The Center for the Arts will present Spring Light, a photography exhibition featuring members of the Nevada County Camera Club, on view March 19 through April 26, 2026 in the Granucci Gallery.
The exhibition highlights a wide range of photographic perspectives from regional artists, capturing the subtle transformations of the spring season. Through landscapes, nature studies, and creative explorations of light and atmosphere, participating photographers reveal moments of beauty and observation drawn from Nevada County and beyond.
Founded to promote the enjoyment and advancement of photography through education, collaboration, and community engagement, the Nevada County Camera Club brings together photographers of all experience levels—from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned professionals. The club provides opportunities for members to develop their craft through workshops, critique sessions, exhibitions, and public events.
Spring Light continues the club’s long-standing tradition of presenting themed exhibitions that celebrate both the technical and artistic possibilities of photography. The works on display demonstrate a diverse range of styles, subjects, and techniques while sharing a common focus on the expressive power of light during the changing season.
The public is invited to attend a free opening reception on Friday, March 20 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, offering an opportunity to meet participating photographers, view the exhibition, and celebrate the region’s vibrant creative community.
The exhibition will remain on view in the Granucci Gallery through April 26, 2026.
