Grass Valley, CA — The Nevada Union High School Choir invites the community to celebrate its spring performance season with two special events highlighting a year of musical growth, artistry, and student achievement.
The season begins with the Nevada Union High School Choir Spring Concert on Thursday, May 28 at 7:00 PM in the Don Baggett Theatre on the NU campus (11761 Ridge Road, Grass Valley, CA 95945). Doors open at 6:30 PM. This end-of-year concert features performances by Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, Men’s Chorus, Miner’s Chorus, and Bel Canto, showcasing a wide range of choral repertoire and celebrating the dedication of students from all grade levels.
The concert serves as a culminating performance, highlighting student development in vocal technique, stage presence, and ensemble performance. Graduating seniors will also be recognized for their contributions to the program throughout the year. Under the direction of choir director Conor Jamison, the performance reflects a full season of hard work, collaboration, and musical excellence.
Tickets for the Spring Concert are $15 for adults and $5 for students/children and are available online at nuchoir.org or at the door.

The season continues with the NU Chamber Choir Dessert Concert on Thursday, June 5 at 6:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, located at 1979 Ridge Road, Grass Valley. This intimate evening features highlights from throughout the year, including selections from the Madrigal Dinner, Winter Concerts, and Spring Concert.
Guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed performance experience accompanied by a selection of desserts served following the concert. Admission is free, with donations welcome and appreciated.
Together, these performances celebrate the artistry, dedication, and growth of Nevada Union’s choir students and offer the community a meaningful opportunity to experience their work firsthand. Community members are warmly invited to attend, enjoy the performances, and celebrate alongside the students as they close out a successful season.
