The Nevada County Superintendent of Schools (NCSOS), in partnership with PARTNERS Family Resources, is thrilled to welcome the community to the 5th Annual Latino Family Festival on Thursday, September 17th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Condon Park, Grass Valley.
Marking five years of bringing our community together, this free event celebrates the rich heritage, traditions, and contributions of Latinx cultures. Residents of all ages are invited to enjoy an energetic evening packed with music, dance, children’s activities, and meaningful local connections to each other and valuable community resources.
This milestone year features over 30 local organizations offering valuable insights into community health, family support services, educational opportunities, and creative arts. To ensure an inclusive experience for all attendees, bilingual representatives will be on-site throughout the evening to assist families in both Spanish and English.
“Five years of the Latino Family Festival represents our ongoing commitment to celebrating diversity while empowering every family in Nevada County,” said Sarah Morgan, Coordinator of Community Schools and PARTNERS Family Resources. “It’s a night to gather, enjoy great entertainment, and connect with resources that help our community thrive.”
Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic and enjoy the festivities, which include interactive activities for kids and live performances including dancing and music setting the rhythm for the night.
