Grass Valley, CA โ The Nevada County Fairgrounds is proud to announce the outstanding results of the 2026 Ag Mechanics and Junior Livestock Auction, which together raised an impressive $1,264,657.97 in support of youth exhibitors.

The total includes:
- Ag Mechanics Sale: $154,900.00
- Junior Livestock Auction: $912,685.64
- Bump Ups (Add-ons): $197,072.33
The 2026 results underscore the generosity and commitment of the local community. That support plays a vital role in creating meaningful opportunities for young people pursuing agricultural education, hands-on learning, and vocational skills.
Nearly $200,000 in Bump Ups is remarkable! โWe know that purchasing an entire animal or project isnโt possible for everyone, but there are many ways to show support,โ said Andrew Trygg, Chief Executive Officer. โA bump-up gives community members an opportunity to invest directly in these young exhibitors and recognize the tremendous time, effort, and dedication they put into bringing their projects to the Fair.โ

The Ag Mechanics Auction highlights the creativity and technical skills of local students through projects they design and build, including trailers, barbecues, furniture, and other wood and metal creations. The Junior Livestock Auction features animals raised and exhibited by local 4-H and FFA members. Proceeds from these auctions can help young people build college savings, fund future agricultural projects, develop career skills, and take the next steps toward their goals.
Thank you to every buyer, supporter, and participant who contributed to making the 2026 auctions a success.
