The fire is now fully contained, dozers have completed the line around the fire.

Heavy mop-up operations are underway, firefighters will remain committed for a few hours. There has been no damage to any structures, no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Beale Air Attack estimates the fire at 1,200 acres approximately. Forward progress has been stopped. The helicopter will map the fire more accurately.

Tankers 88, 89 and 93 are working the fire, directed by Air Attack 230 now Beale Air Attack. Helicopter 205 is on final approach, will unload the helitack crew and then hook up the bucket to do water drops.

Firefighters are focusing on the right flank of the fire, a residence and a barn are about 1/2 mile from the head of the fire. There is no immediate threat to structures, no evacuations or road closures at this time.

Access for engines is difficult, but tankers and dozers are making good progress. Beale Air Attack thinks they can pick it up with the resources dispatched now.
