Forward progress of the Bumper Fire has been stopped. Firefighters are still working numerous spot fires and extinguishing hot spots. The fire is still actively burning, all evacuations remain in place. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Heavy tankers are being directed from the Bumper to the Omega Fire. Two tankers and two helicopters remain over the fire with Air Attack 230.

    Off of Old Frenchtown Road and feel like it was a closer call than we’d ask for but sure awareness-building.
