Their hard work over the last few days was aided by favorable weather conditions. Firefighters will remain vigilant overnight, continuing their line reinforcement and mop-up work.

Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office has ordered a mandatory evacuation for residents at the north end of W Dry Creek down to Fall Creek Rd — and all areas west of W Dry Creek Road in that area to Stewarts Point Skaggs Springs Rd due to a wildfire in the area. This notice affects all residents and business in the area and is a mandatory evacuation.

Evacuation Order has been expanded to include all residents in
Zone SON-2E2 (Dry Creek Valley):
 
North and East of Chemise Road
South of Stewarts Point-Skaggs Springs Road
West of Dry Creek (the creek)

If you are in the above areas please calmly and quickly evacuate. Check with your neighbors to ensure they have been made aware of the order. First Responders are currently working on going door to door to assist.
