There is a continued structure threat for the communities of Happy Valley and Igo in the Southwest Redding area. Four structures have been destroyed.

Shasta County Sheriff: Update – 1 change to hard closures. Now Clear Creek and Honeybee. Changed from Hwy. 273. No other changes at this time.

-Hawthorne at Oak
-Cloverdale at Placer
-Gas Point N/B at Lower Gas Point
-Gas Point S/B at Platina
-Oak at Zandell
-China Gulch at Sullivan

Evacuations are in place for the communities of Igo and Cloverdale. Two structures have been destroyed. Long range spotting has challenged firefighting efforts.

The Red Cross has opened an evacuation center at West Valley High School, 3805 Happy Valley Rd. in #Cottonwood for people evacuating from the #CreekFire in #ShastaCounty. Volunteers are on hand to provide snacks, drinks and comfort to all clients.

Fire is located off Clear Creek Rd. near American Rd just west of Redding. There are four separate fires burning at a critical rate of spread with long range spotting observed. Structures and power lines are threatened.
