The fire remains 200 acres and is 50% contained.

No change in acreage overnight. The Rose fire remains 200 acres and 10% contained. All Evacuation Orders and Warnings were lifted last evening and all roads are open. A day assignment consisting engines, fire crews and a water tender is in place and will remain on scene to fully contain and control the fire.

ALL EVACUATION ORDERS LIFTED, including: Amorose Street, Rockridge Road, Toft Street and Ainsworth Place. Grand Avenue also reopened. Motorists should drive with caution through the fire area and yield to fire equipment and personnel working.

Update 7:30 p.m. CAL FIRE Investigators determined that the fire was caused accidentally by equipment. No further information available.

Update 4:25 p.m. The fire is now approximately 150 acres and 0% contained. The fire is burning in medium fuels at a rapid rate.

Evacuation WARNINGS remain in place for: El Cariso Campground, Los Pinos Campground and North Main Divide.
