For today, the north to northeast winds will gradually diminish through the day. Temperatures will be a little bit higher today than Sunday. Relative humidity will drop to around 20 percent. Firefighting resources will continue to mop up and patrol. Crews remain diligent in providing public service to residents as they return to their homes. Structures destroyed and damaged have been validated by damage assessment teams. Currently 95% of the burn assessment is complete.

For today, the weak northeasterly winds this morning will shift to the southwest/upcanyon direction this afternoon. Afternoon temperatures will be a few degrees warmer and minimum relative humidity will be lower. Firefighting resources will continue to mop up and patrol. Unburned interior islands as well as burned structures adjacent to control lines will be monitored to prevent spread. Crews remain diligent in providing public service to residents as they return to their homes. Structures destroyed and damaged have been validated by damage assessment teams. Currently 85% of the burn assessment incomplete.

For today, onshore flow will continue across the incident with peak gusts between 15 and 20 MPH in the afternoon hours. Afternoon temperatures will be a couple degrees cooler and minimum relative humidity a bit higher. Resources will continue to mop up and patrol. Fire suppression repair teams are actively engaged working around the fire perimeter and affected areas. Crews remain diligent in providing public service to residents as they return to their homes. Structures destroyed and damaged have been validated by damage assessment teams. Currently 70% of the burn assessment is complete.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is announcing the repopulation of the following areas impacted by the #WoolseyFire – effective Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

The following areas will be opened to residents and businesses beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning:

We will reopen additional areas located inside of the City of Calabasas. This will include all residences within the city limits as follows:
• Mulholland Highway from Mulholland Drive to Eddingham Avenue
• Southeast of Mulholland Highway to the intersection of Summit to Summit Mountainway and Adamsville Avenue
o Includes neighborhoods of Calabasas Highlands, Mulholland Heights, and Mountain Park.

†Preliminary estimates show 483 total structures destroyed which accounts for nonresidential commercial property and minor structures. However, damage assessment for the affected area is 22% complete showing 279 confirmed structures destroyed and 86 structures damaged.

The following areas will be opened to residents and businesses beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning:

We will fully reopen the City of Hidden Hills. This will include all residences within the city limits as follows:

• West of Valley Circle Boulevard
• East of Crummer Canyon Road, and
• North of the Interstate 101 Freeway to the northern city limits

The City of Calabasas will have limited areas reopened which will include:

• West of Topanga Canyon Boulevard
• Northwest of Mulholland Highway
• North of Stunt Road
• East of Las Virgenes Road
• East of the Lost Hills Road neighborhoods (including Lost Springs and Saratoga)
• South of the Los Angeles/Ventura County Line

*Per SoCal Edison, sections of the City of Calabasas may be without power at the time of the reopening of the area.

The City of Westlake Village will also have limited areas reopened as follows:

• City limits on the west, from the intersection of Westlake Boulevard and Sycamore Canyon Drive – north to the Ventura County and City of Agoura Hills boundaries.

The City of Agoura Hills will reopen its impacted areas from:
• Chesebro Road on the eastern border MEDIA RELEASE WOOLSEY FIRE UNIFIED COMMANDERS
• Agoura Road (north and south sides of the road) from Chesebro Road to the west.

To accomplish this process, The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is working with our public safety partners to open on-ramps and off-ramps of the Interstate 101 Freeway in the area. The Fire Incident Command continues to monitor the active fire areas, as well as those areas remaining closed due to critical infrastructure concerns or safety hazards.

There are extensive power outages in the Bell Canyon area, so residents are asked to exercise caution when returning to their residences.

Due to extreme fire behavior, firefighting efforts have been focused, and will remain focused, on the protection of life, and structures. Crews will continue to reinforce containment lines throughout the evening. Steep terrain, limited access, and extreme fire behavior will continue to challenge crews. Weak to moderate Santa Ana winds will persist through the night with gusts around 30 MPH.

83% of all National Parks Service land in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area has been burned by the Woolsey Fire. All National Parks Service lands in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area are closed to public entry for safety.

†Preliminary estimates show 435 total structures destroyed. However, damage assessment for the affected area is 15% complete showing 82 confirmed structures destroyed and 21 structures damaged.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is announcing the repopulation of the areas of Agoura Hills and Westlake Village (Los Angeles County side) which will begin to occur on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 9pm.

To accomplish this process, the California Highway Patrol will be reopening the Interstate 101 Freeway. At 9pm, the northbound lanes will be open from Valley Circle Boulevard, with the off-ramps at Chesebro Road, Kanan Road, Reyes Adobe Road, and Lindero Canyon re-opening. At 10pm, the southbound lanes of Interstate 101 Freeway will open, with the same off-ramps to southbound traffic.

The only areas in the impacted fire zone of Los Angeles County that we are able to safely repopulate at this time are the Agoura Hills and Westlake Village communities, between Chesebro Road and Westlake Boulevard and north of the 101 Freeway. No access will be available to neighborhoods south of the 101 Freeway.

The Los Angeles County Public Works has closed Chesebro Road at the bridge located between Driver Avenue and Balkins Street due to the bridge being damaged during the fire.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will have a strong presence in the repopulated and evacuated areas for the next several days to ensure the protection of our residents and their property.

All other road closures and evacuated areas remain in effect.
