IC reports crews are making really good progress, they should have forward progress stopped in about 10-15 minutes. Air Attack reports the fire is holding at 20-25 acres.

Iowa Air Attack is canceling the request for a Type 1 tanker. They road system and retardant drops are moderating the fire behavior. Ground resources are making good progress.

Iowa Air Attack now reports 20-30 acres, on the north side of the road, light flashy fuels with a south wind on it. Requesting additional tankers. Potential for 70-80 acres.

Iowa IC requests law enforcement for traffic control in the area, Iowa City Rd between Loma Rica and Fruitland to be shut down. Units at scene report approximately 2 acres burning in light flashy fuels at a moderate rate of spread. The fire jumped Iowa City Rd.

Looks like possibly another rekindle of an ag burn in the Loma Rica area. There is also another ag burn in the area, units will check it out.
