This fire is a control burn on private property, not a vegetation fire. IC is releasing most resources back to their units

Handcrews are working the heel of the fire, building line to tie in with the dozer line. Fire behavior has moderated, not very active at this time.

CHP is on scene to provide traffic control on Willow Glenn Road, approximately 1 mile north of Marysville Road.

New estimate puts the fire at approximately 25-30 acres. Second helicopter has been requested. The fire is burning in very steep terrain, in brush and timber. Willow IC now has all requested resources on scene, some staging along Willow Glenn Road.

Resources on scene include numerous engines, one dozer, 3 water tenders, Helicopter 205. CAL FIRE NEU is assisted by resources from the Tahoe National Forest, Foothill Fire, Camptonville and Dobbins fire departents. Butte County Fire is also on scene

Reported vegetation fire, estimated at 4-5 acres with a spot fire on Willow Glenn Road in Yuba County, north of Collins Lake. One structure is immediately threatened. Washington Ridge Crew 2 is at scene, requesting 2 more crews, 4-5 engines and aircraft if available.
