Old Camptonville Road remains shut down at Hwy 49. CHP and Yuba County Sheriff are providing traffic control.

The Type 1 helicopter out of Truckee has been canceled, Air Attack reports the line around the fire is almost completed.

Small spot, approximately a 10 by 10, at the head of the fire. Ground resources and Helicopter 514 are working the spot, looks under control now.

The forward progress of the fire has been stopped. Air tankers are on hold at the Grass Valley Air Base.

Additional aircraft is on order from NorthOps. Firefighters are doing structure defense, multiple structures are still threatened but the progress of the fire has been slowed.

Tankers are working the right shoulder of the fire to slow the forward spread of the fire. Two structures are involved.

The fire is still estimated at 2 acres and burning at a moderate rate of spread.
One structure is involved, multiple homes are immediately threatened.
On scene right now: Tahoe National Forest, CAL FIRE, Camptonville Fire, North San Juan Fire, CHP and Yuba County Sheriff’s Office.
