Currently serving as President of the NID Board of Directors, Johansen brings a long track record of local government service and community service including: President of the Nevada County Land Trust for two years, Nevada County’s Agricultural Advisory Commission for 16 years. In January 2019, Rich was selected for an appointment to the Nevada County Planning Commission, and in 2020 was elected to serve Division V Director for NID.
