With four years of service on the board and my current role as president, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible dedication of our staff, administration and teachers to ensure the success of our students. My commitment to fostering a supportive environment has driven my passion for guaranteeing that every child has the resources they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

I am an advocate for social-emotional learning (SEL). It is crucial that we equip our students with the skills to manage their emotions, build healthy relationships, and navigate the complexities of life. Through my participation on the LCAP committee, I have prioritized SEL initiatives that create a foundation for our students to enhance their educational experience. It is important to advocate for funding for counseling support, teaching aids, universal design learning, and giving our teachers the resources they need.

My experience has taught me the importance of collaboration and communication. I have built relationships with parents, teachers, and community members, ensuring that diverse voices are heard. I want to continue to champion the initiatives that matter most to our families. I am committed to transparency, accountability, and fostering a culture of inclusivity within our schools.
