I’m passionate about helping young people grow to be the best they can. I believe a school board should focus on supporting strong academics to ensure that students have this opportunity.
After moving here in 2000 with my family, my kids went to Cottage Hill, then Magnolia and graduated from Bear River. These schools were known as great schools ranking high in the state, and I want to support the schools in our area to achieve their high ranking.
I have a background in accounting and real estate. I also operate a business making soaps and natural bath products. I live on a small ranch with a variety of animals. I study native medicinal plants, and make products for well-being out of them. I focus on sustainable land stewardship.
I want to help kids recover from the COVID years. Kids need to be seen and valued in a world where phones and social media are a constant distraction. I want to serve on the board of the Pleasant Ridge Union School District in order to ensure that policies and curriculum lead to students receiving the positive attention they need to thrive.
