AUBURN, CA – BriarPatch Food Co-op is partnering with Vitalant to host a community blood drive on Tuesday, January 20, in honor of National Blood Donor Month. BriarPatch invites community members to start the New Year by making a lifesaving donation.

The Vitalant Bloodmobile will be parked in front of Auburn BriarPatch from 9 am to 1:30 pm on the 20th. Each blood donation can help save up to three lives, making even a small act of generosity a powerful gift to the community.
To thank donors for giving back, every participant will receive a $5 BriarPatch Food Co-op coupon. PatchWorks volunteers can also earn three volunteer hours by donating at the event, which can be applied toward monthly volunteer totals. Through BriarPatch’s PatchWorks program, households that volunteer six or more hours per month with an approved nonprofit partner receive a 15% off shopping coupon, with an additional coupon available for households volunteering twelve or more hours per month.
Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled online at briarpatch.coop/blood-drive or by calling Vitalant at (877) 258-4825.
Auburn BriarPatch is located at 2505 Bell Road.
