A trail race like no other! The Bear Yuba Land Trust and the Sierra Trailblazers bring you Nevada City’s own Champion Mine Trail Race.
Offering a dynamic mix of pavement, gravel, and single track trails, the first annual Champion Mine Trail Race is a must-do event for any trail enthusiast. Racers take their marks at the historic Miners Foundry in downtown Nevada City, and then set off on a course that takes them up Broad Street and then out Champion Mine Road and the Deer Creek Tribute Trail System.
The Champion Mine Trail Race includes two offerings: a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a 5k Run/Walk (3.1 miles).
All registrations include:
- Custom race t-shirt
- Locally made finishers medal
- A pancake breakfast sponsored by the Nevada City Police Department
- Room rate discount for participants at Gold Miners Inn
