The Children’s Festival, now sponsored by Gold Country Kiwanis, will be hosting their annual event on Friday, July 15th at Pioneer Park, 421 Nimrod Street, Nevada City, CA. The Festival exposes the children to the culture of the Renaissance period, a historic time characterized by the rebirth of human exploration in art, music, literature, philosophy and science.
There will be craft tables, where children can create their own works of art, live performances, music, storytelling, and much, much more.
The Festival has two sessions. The morning session will be from 9:00 a.m. to noon and the evening event will be from 5-8 p.m. Fee for the event is $3.00 per person.
