NEVADA COUNTY, Calif. April 9, 2024 – Please join the Nevada County District Attorney’s Office in honoring crime victims throughout Nevada County during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW), April 21-27, 2024. We will be recognizing victims and survivors of crime through various community events and venues.
Listen for daily radio conversations highlighting Nevada County Victim Assistance Center Services, partnering organizations and county representatives who strive each day to obtain justice for victims of crime in our local region. District Attorney and Victim Assistance staff will participate in a livestreamed presentation by District Attorney Jesse Wilson, honoring one of our victims of crime who demonstrated extraordinary courage throughout the criminal justice process and beyond. While our guest’s experience is personally unique, she represents the countless victims and survivors whose stories must be shared, and voices heard.
In addition to presenting to the Nevada County Board of Supervisors (BOS) on April 9, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. regarding the District Attorney’s Victim Witness Assistance Center program and its NCVRW activities, requesting the BOS declare April 21-27, 2024 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, the following activities will take place throughout NCVRW:
