GRASS VALLEY, CA – The rumble of engines and shine of polished chrome will return to historic Mill Street on Saturday, April 25, 2026, as the beloved 39th Annual Downtown Grass Valley Car Show rolls into town. Marking nearly four decades of automotive tradition, this community favorite brings together car enthusiasts from across the region for one of Northern California’s most anticipated spring events.
For 39 years, the show has transformed downtown Grass Valley into a living showcase of automotive history and craftsmanship. This year, local car owners, collectors, and clubs are invited to register and reserve their spots. From high-performance hot rods and classic muscle cars to vintage treasures and custom builds, all makes and models are welcome.
“This event really showcases what makes downtown Grass Valley special,” said Robin Davies, Executive Director of the Grass Valley Downtown Association. “It draws people in, creates a lively atmosphere, and gives everyone a chance to enjoy amazing cars while spending the day in the heart of our community.”
The event begins at 10:00 a.m. and continues until 2:00 p.m., when trophies will be awarded in more than 20 categories, including the coveted People’s Choice Award and Best of Show. Families and spectators are encouraged to come early and enjoy the full lineup of vehicles, along with the energy and charm of downtown Grass Valley.
