Calscape Homepage

Check out the new Calscape (https://calscape.org/). This website by the California Native Plant Society (CNPS) is California’s most popular way to learn about our native plants. Here’s your chance to benefit from all it offers.

Get Live Guidance

On Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. in Auburn, bring your laptop, tablet or phone to a special hands-on program offered by the local Redbud Chapter of CNPS. Native-plant enthusiasts will guide you through exploring and using the new Calscape. Step by step, you’ll learn to:

  • Easily and quickly find native plants that fit your site and your goals
  • Search for plants by plant community
  • Create and use plant lists
  • Reserve plants for pickup at a nursery
  • Check out tips about gardening with native plants
  • Contribute feedback to Calscape

What’s New in Calscape

A vibrant redesign now makes Calscape even more useful and inspiring—our state’s native plants and cultivars, free gardening designs and guidance, gorgeous photos, a garden planner tool, a native plant nursery directory, and native plant landscaping professionals.
