Grass Valley, CA — The Food Bank of Nevada County is pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Bentley as its new Interim Executive Director, effective immediately. Bentley brings a strong background in private sector management and nonprofit leadership, along with a deep commitment to Nevada County—making her well-positioned to guide the organization through this important transitional period.
Brett offers valuable experience in nonprofit operations, fundraising, and community engagement. Her leadership style is rooted in collaboration and transparency, and she is deeply committed to serving the evolving needs of the community. The Board selected Brett for her demonstrated ability to lead with integrity and purpose while advancing the Food Bank’s mission.

In her role as Interim Executive Director, Brett will collaborate closely with staff, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen ongoing programs and ensure a smooth leadership transition.
