The rafters of the 160-year-old Stone Hall at the Miners Foundry Cultural Center will ring with the classic songs of The Beatles & Beyond!
The Foundry offers the audience an opportunity to relieve their youth or present this music to our younger attendees for the first time. Relive, Here Comes the Sun, Let it Be, Come Together, Hey Jude, and more! Additional 1960s music will be presented as well. A little bit of everything for all!
Rod Baggett, choral conductor at Nevada Union High School along with vocalist Robbie Merchant will lead voices unified in song. Supported by the precision guitar playing of Jonathan Meredith and Tim Yamauchi.
The Foundry Sings is inspired by the popular Choir! Choir! Choir!, a weekly drop-in singing event based in Toronto, Canada, which has attracted professional musicians such as Patti Smith, David Byrne and Rufus Wainwright to sing with the group.
This unique countywide experience aims to gather people of all ages and singing levels under one roof to share in the power of song. Foundry Sings is an event for the entire family. We’d love for you to join in the sing along!
