Program Description: This 12-week certificate program, developed in coordination with several local fabrication shops, is a fast-track training in advanced manufacturing skills for Nevada County residents who meet the required criteria for sponsorship. Participants will also gain professional development in related workforce skills such as safety and communication. The course will include videos, readings, writing modules, and hands-on project-based learning.
Our goal is to produce employees for our local shops who can step into a shop and be safe and productive on the first day of their new job!
