Two Holiday Concerts by the Grass Valley Male Voice Choir will be performed in Grass Valley on Thanksgiving weekend: Saturday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m.
The choir is opening the holiday season with music that lifts the spirit. They are excited to share a selection of cherished songs, including “What a Wonderful World,” “Simple Gifts,” “Let There Be Peace on Earth,” “You Raise Me Up,” and more.
The choir is directed by Artistic Director George Husaruk and accompanied by Janet Rossman and Tina Spriggs. The program will be presented in two parts with an intermission and cookies.
The location is Grace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley, 1979 Ridge Rd., Grass Valley (between Sierra College Boulevard and Nevada Union High School).
Tickets are $20 for adults; children 12 and under are free. Early ticket purchase is recommended since the concerts usually sell out. Tickets may be purchased at www.gvmalevoicechoir.org or from choir members. Tickets may be available at the door on a space-available basis.
