Grass Valley, CA – Foothills Compassionate Care is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Turcios as the new Director of Patient Care Services. Emily is a dynamic, forward-thinking registered nurse with a strong background in hospice care and a proven track record of leadership and process improvement. She brings over seven years of experience working with non-profit hospice organizations and is certified as a Hospice and Palliative nurse.
Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Samuel Merritt University, Emily began her career in long-term care, where she was first introduced to hospice. Her passion for compassionate end-of-life care quickly grew, leading her to focus on this essential field. As a collaborative team player, Emily is known for fostering clear, effective communication and creating a positive, productive work environment.
