Lasagna dinner benefiting Sierra Services for the Blind on May 23

Eskaton Village in Grass Valley has graciously offered to put on a fundraiser Lasagna dinner benefiting Sierra Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired. In addition to Lasagna, Eskaton will be serving salad, vegetables, bread and dessert. There will be a door prize and raffle.

Sierra Services for the Blind is a non-profit that has been assisting the blind and visually impaired in Nevada and Placer counties for 42 years with medical transportation, peer groups, education and advocacy for the individual and their families. They have been deemed the “best kept secret in town” as the work they do for those in our community with this unique disability is detrimental to helping them harness independence.

Eskaton Village Grass Valley offers an idyllic environment for seniors looking for a place to stay active and foster their creativity. Eskaton Village Grass Valley offers a variety of residence options and programs that promote independence while also providing residents with access to a wide range of supportive assisted living and memory support services as needed.

Both organizations are dedicated to providing the community with programs to promote independence and aging optimally.
