Master Gardeners of Nevada County workshop: Totally Tomatoes

March 11, 2024 – Please join the Master Gardeners of Nevada County as we present our free public workshop on growing tomatoes. Learn how to select the best varieties based on taste, needs and skill levels.

Discussion will include:

• Best growing conditions here in the foothills for tomatoes
• Some of our favorite cherry, slicing and paste tomatoes
• Different growing strategies for healthy tomatoes, i.e., raised beds, trellising, spacing, crop rotation
• Pests and diseases that plague tomato plants
