NEVADA CITY, Calif. March 18, 2020 – The agenda for the Nevada County Board of Supervisors meeting on March 24th has been released. Unlike pre-COVID19 meetings, supervisors “will attend the meeting and participate remotely to the same extent as if they were present.”

While no public is allowed in the Board Chamber, you can still comment on items on the agenda. Here’s how:

ANY MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC DESIRING TO ADDRESS THE BOARD ON A MATTER ON THE AGENDA, OR ON ITEMS NOT APPEARING ON THE AGENDA: Members of the public may submit written comments on any matter within the Board’s subject matter jurisdiction, regardless of whether the matter is on the agenda for Board consideration or action.

If you are watching the live stream of the Board meeting and wish to comment on a specific agenda item as it is being heard, please submit your comment through our eComment system at https://nevco.granicus.com/ViewPublisher.php?view_id=3.

Every effort will be made to read your comment into the record, but some comments may not be read due to time limitations. Comments received after an agenda item is heard will not be read, but will become part of the record after the end of the meeting.

In order for comments to be entered into the administrative record of the meeting, they must be received no
later than 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the noticed meeting.

This meeting is broadcast live on NCTV Channel 17 in the Western County and on Truckee-Tahoe Community TV (TTCTV) Channel 18 in the Eastern County. You can post comments on this Agenda and view the meeting live through the web at https://nevco.granicus.com/ViewPublisher.php?view_id=3. Closed Captioning is available for hearing impaired viewers.

After the BOS approves the consent calendar items, Nevada County Public Health Department will provide a report on the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
