The Nevada County Superintendent of Schools TUPE (Tobacco Use Prevention Education) Services is proud to invite students, parents, educators, and community members to a powerful documentary screening this June. Join us for Screenagers: Under the Influence on Thursday, June 5th at 7:00 PM at the Del Oro Theater.
Screenagers: Under the Influence explores how media impacts teensโ thoughts and decisions around substances like nicotine, alcohol, cannabis, and other drugs. Through real-life stories from teens and their families, and insights from leading experts, the film sheds light on the critical connection between substance use and mental health.
This documentary offers a valuable opportunity for the community to come together to better understand the challenges facing youth today. We hope the film empowers families and caregivers to start meaningful conversations with the teens and young adults in their lives.
