Nevada City, CA and Grass Valley, CA – The 34th Annual Nevada County Toy Run is back, bringing joy and holiday cheer to families throughout the region. Scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, this beloved event will take place rain or shine, beginning at the Eric Rood Administration Center in Nevada City, and ending at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley.

This year’s Toy Run is expected to provide 550 holiday meals to local families and deliver gifts to approximately 2,500 children, ensuring that every child can experience the magic of Christmas.

The Nevada County Toy Run has been a cherished tradition for over three decades, bringing together community members, volunteers, and local organizations to make a meaningful impact during the holiday season. From its humble beginnings, the event has grown into a vital source of support for families in need, helping to create lasting memories and strengthen the spirit of giving in the community.

Community members are encouraged to join, volunteer, or contribute to make this year’s Toy Run the most successful yet. Donations of toys, non-perishable food items, and time are always welcome and help ensure that every child enjoys a joyful holiday season. Toy Run staff and volunteers will be at the Nevada County Fairgrounds to accept donations of non-perishable food items and gifts on Friday the 12th of December from 9 to 5, and Saturday the 13th from 8 to 12. Any donations after that time can be made at the front desk of the Toy Run in the Main Building at Gate 1, Nevada County Fairgrounds.
