NEVADA CITY, Calif. October 6, 2016 – Nevada County voters should expect to receive their voter information pamphlets this weekend. According to an email from the vendor, the voter information booklets went to Long Beach on Tuesday and arrived at the Sacramento distribution center yesterday. Four reprints, with corrected Spanish language information,  were dropped in Sacramento today and will be delivered starting this weekend.

The Vote By Mail (VBM) ballots will arrive in Sacramento at the U.S. Postal Service distribution center on Monday, October 10 2016. They will be sorted and delivered shortly thereafter.

Voter registration for the November Presidential Election closes on October 24th. For the November 8, 2016, Presidential General Election, early voting will begin October 11, 2016. There are two early voting locations in Nevada County:
Nevada County Elections Office: 950 Maidu Avenue, Suite 210, Nevada City, CA 95959. Phone: 530-265-1298.  Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
Truckee Town Hall: 10183 Truckee Airport Road, Truckee, CA 96161. Phone: 530-582-7700. Monday – Friday 8am – 12pm and 1pm – 5pm. Paper ballots are not available at this location. You will be able to vote on an electronic voting device.
