GRASS VALLEY, Calif – Thousands of people participated in the local No Kings 3 protest on Saturday. Crowd estimates run between 3,500 and 4,000 participants during the two-hour event.
The event, organized by Indivisible Nevada County, was the third nationwide rally.
Reader Charles Benner focused on the handmade signs and wrote “These homemade signs tell us the issues they care about most. This year’s signs carried new concerns: about the war in Iran and threats to our democracy.” These new signs read:
