The NSJ Fire Department invites the community to its beloved annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, October 18, from 5-8 pm at Fire House 1, located at 10057 Reservoir St. This cherished tradition brings neighbors together for an evening of delicious food, spirited bidding, and meaningful support for our local firefighters.
This year’s event promises a memorable experience for the whole family. Our firefighters will be serving up their home-cooked spaghetti dinner, prepared with care and community spirit. The all-you-can-eat dinner tickets are affordably priced at $15 for adults, $10 for kids ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under, with the proceeds directly benefiting the North San Juan Fire Department. Every ticket purchased and money spent on auction items directly supports the dedicated men and women who serve our community with an incredible amount of volunteered time and dedication.
The evening’s highlight features both silent and live auctions running from 7-8pm, showcasing dozens of fantastic prizes generously donated by small, local businesses throughout Nevada County. From gift certificates and handcrafted items to unique experiences and services, there’s something for every taste and interest. The auction offers a wonderful opportunity to discover local treasures while supporting an essential cause, and the Dutch auction continues to be a local favorite – engaging participants with high energy excitement!
The NSJ Fire Department encourages community members to purchase pre-sale tickets or make direct donations to the firehouse through the Venmo (@NSJFA61) Walk-ins are also welcome on the day of the event.
