GRASS VALLEY, Calif. June 4, 2017 – District 1 Supervisor Heidi Hall was charged with a misdemeanor DUI last night, after attending an event and celebrating her birthday. She was arrested by Grass Valley Police and processed at the Nevada County Jail. After posting $5,000 bail, she was released.

Reached this morning, Hall said: “I do not condone drinking and driving and take the issue seriously. I used poor judgement last night when I thought it was safe for me to drive. I apologize for disappointing so many people. This will not happen again.”

Grass Valley Police Report

Lt. Matteoni with Grass Valley Police reported the event as follows: “At 9:54 pm officers were dispatched to Condon Park for a report of an accident. The reporting party stated the driver who had backed into his parked car appeared intoxicated. Officers arrived on scene and smelled alcohol on Ms. Hall’s breath. She was also exhibiting signs of intoxication. Based of these factors, officers asked her to execute a series of field sobriety tests. Based on the outcome, she was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and booked into the Wayne Brown Jail.”
