Nevada City, CA – SYRCL’s annual Brains of Nevada County Quiz Night is back and has a new home. Join us on March 12th at Gold Vibe Kombuchary for bubbly drinks, food trucks, and trivia!
Tickets to Quiz Night are $10 and are available at the SYRCL website – yubariver.org as – well as at the door. We encourage you to get your team together (no more than five people) to show up and show off at 12615 Charles Dr, Grass Valley from 6:00–9:00pm, and it’s sure to be a wild and exciting evening of trivia, competition, and community! Doors open at 6pm and trivia begins at 6:30pm.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to gather all the Brains of Nevada County for this beloved in-person event,” says Daniel Elkin, SYRCL’s Communications & Engagement Director. “This year we’ve re-imagined Quiz Night to appeal to a wider audience and bring a new vibe to the shenanigans. We’re thankful to the great folks at Gold Vibe for letting us use their space; they’ve been such a great addition to the community.”
Started in 2002, Quiz Night is the annual spring fundraiser for the South Yuba River Citizens League’s (SYRCL) Youth Environmentalist of the Year scholarship and its year-round River Education programs. Each year, SYRCL awards a $4,000 scholarship to support a local college-bound student who has demonstrated a commitment to the environment and is on their path to becoming an environmental steward. This means your support goes directly to the next generation of environmental stewards and advocates!
