Two local cohousing communities are opening their doors to friends, neighbors, and the media during the National Cohousing Open House weekend on May 4th.
Wolf Creek Lodge, 800 Freeman Lane in Grass Valley, will be welcoming visitors from noon to 2 PM, while Nevada City Cohousing, 200 Redbud Way, is open from 2 to 4 PM. We invite members of the public to stop by for a tour and to see all that we (and cohousing) have to offer!
“This open house day is a great opportunity to see how our cohousing communities work,” said Helen Fitanides, a resident of Nevada City Cohousing.
You can also join a virtual event on the 4th at 10am to hear from residents at Fair Oaks EcoHousing, Washington Commons, Wolf Creek Lodge, and Nevada City Cohousing. They will discuss the similarities and differences between their communities, with time for questions.
