The annual collection drive for warm coats, hats, gloves, and socks by United Way of Nevada County for those in our community who need them the most has begun. Donate these much-needed items so that others in our community can stay warm this winter. The majority of those in need are families with children who are just struggling to get by. This collection drive will help these households and individuals stay warm during the upcoming winter months.

Starting now through December 17th, new and slightly used warm coats, hats, gloves, and socks can be dropped off at the following locations: B & C Ace Home and Garden Center, Baird, Meyers Investment Group, Century 21 Cornerstone Realty, Coldwell Banker Grass Roots Realty, Connecting Point, Eric Rood Center, Grass Valley Training Zone, Hills Flat Lumber, KNCO, Law Office of Beau Mayfield, Limitless Fitness, Northridge Restaurant Penn Valley, Provisions, True Value Hardware, Sierra Nevada Children’s Services, South Yuba Club, SPD Market (Grass Valley and Nevada City locations), Training Zone, Tri-Counties Bank (Grass Valley and Nevada City locations), and Westamerica Bank (Penn Valley).

This year’s Project Warmth is sponsored by DO HVAC, Danny Oliver’s Heating & Air. They can be reached at www.DoHVACinc.com or 530-802-7222.
