NEVADA CITY, Calif. February 10, 2026 – Robb Tucker, elected in 2024 to the Nevada County Board of Supervisors, took office in January of 2025. After a little more than a year as District 2 Supervisor, the website Robb Tucker for Congress, announces his candidacy for Congress.

California’s newly-redrawn Congressional District 3 prompted incumbent Kevin Kiley to announce he is not running for re-election. As of today, the Federal Elections Commission’s website lists four other candidates running for the seat in the June Primary election. The first candidate to announce her candidacy was Nevada County District 1 Supervisor Heidi Hall, running as a Democrat.

The campaign website states:

As a Supervisor, I have stood up for meaningful solutions to protect public safety, support small businesses and create jobs, and protect our quality of life through a responsible balance of growth, development, and agriculture.

Now, I am running for Congress to take that solutions-oriented leadership to Washington, D.C.
