Grass Valley, CA May 1, 2025 – The Nevada County Country Club (NCCC), a historic semi-private golf club nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills, is thrilled to announce the launch of its Centennial Logo Design Contest. As the club approaches its 100th anniversary in 2026, NCCC invites artists, designers, and community members to contribute to this milestone by creating a commemorative logo that encapsulates a century of golfing heritage and community spirit.

Established in 1926 and designed by renowned architect Sam Whiting, NCCC boasts one of Northern California’s oldest regulation 9-hole courses, featuring picturesque tree-lined fairways and challenging greens. The centennial celebration aims to honor this rich history while looking forward to the future of the club and the greater Grass Valley community

Contest Details:

  • Submission Deadline: June 20, 2025
  • Eligibility: Open to all individuals aged 13 and above
  • Design Criteria:
    • Must include phrase “100 Years” or “Centennial”
    • Should reflect the club’s heritage, community, and the spirit of golf
    • Suitable for use across various media, including print, digital, and merchandise
  • Submission Format: High-resolution digital files (AI, EPS, or PDF)
  • Prizes:
    • Grand Prize: $500 cash award and recognition at the Centennial Gala

How to Enter:

Participants should submit their designs via email to pro@nevadacountygolf.com with the subject line “Centennial Logo Contest Submission.” Each submission must include the artist’s full name, contact information, and a brief description of the design concept.​

Selection Process:

A panel comprising NCCC board members and club leadership will review all submissions. The NCCC membership will be voting on final selection
