On Saturday, December 7th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy festive music, chestnut roasting, candle dipping and tin punching, historic children’s games, mine yard demonstrations and more on the beautifully decorated historic grounds of Empire Mine State Historic Park!



Tell Santa what’s on your wish list in the warmly decorated Clubhouse, and snack on Christmas cookies with hot drinks.
Doors open at 10 a.m.; event begins at 11 a.m. Entry is $5 per person; age 5 and under are free. Fourth Graders and their families get in free with the California State Parks Adventure Pass (visit www.parks.ca.gov/AdventurePass for info).
Previously named โHolidays at the Park,โ this annual event is organized in cooperation with the Sierra Gold Parks Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports educational and interpretive programs for the three California State Parks in Western Nevada County.
Note: This event had been traditionally held the day/weekend after Thanksgiving; until further notice, the annual event schedule has been changed to the following weekend.
