Congratulations to all the amazing student participants of the Nevada County STEAM Expo 2025! This year’s event showcased the incredible talent, curiosity, and creativity of students from across the county—and we are proud to celebrate each one of them.
This year, 63 students from six schools participated in the Scientific Inquiry Showcase, presenting 25 individual projects and 17 team projects.
In addition, the 2025 Arts Showcase featured 31 individual projects from four schools, submitted by 12 dedicated teachers.
Over the course of the event, a dedicated group of community members, educators, and local industry leaders came together to evaluate a wide range of student projects in the fields of Scientific Inquiry and the Arts. After much deliberation and admiration for the quality of work, we are thrilled to announce the top finishers in this year’s STEAM Showcase and Competition!
A round of applause for our 2025 winners—and a heartfelt congratulations to all student participants! Your hard work, innovation, creativity and enthusiasm made this event an inspiring success.
The Nevada County STEAM Expo exists to:
- Spark a lasting interest in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) through hands-on investigations, creative expression, and real-world problem-solving.
- Encourage collaboration between schools, families, businesses, and the wider community to develop the STEAM potential of Nevada County’s youth.
- Support and align with the California State Standards to prepare students for future academic and career opportunities.
