Nevada City, Calif. – Learn about new ways to get active, improve your well-being and connect with local resources at Nevada County’s second annual Recreation Fair in Nevada City Saturday, April 25.
The free event, organized by the Nevada County Recreation Coalition, runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, 11228 McCourtney Road, Grass Valley, rain or shine.

Explore interactive exhibits from top recreation organizers, youth sports clubs, summer camps, and stewardship groups. Learn how to stay active, healthy, and connected all year long, while discovering ways to protect and enjoy Nevada County’s beautiful natural spaces.
Over 60 businesses and organizations are participating including Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center, Tahoe National Forest, Aviation Program through Nevada Union High School, Friends of Western Gateway Dog Park, West Coast Falconry, Gold Country Trails Council, Curious Forge Art Center, Miners Mountain Bike Team, Gold Country Yacht Club, South Yuba River Citizen’s League and many more.

The Nevada County Youth Commission will offer face painting and host interactive booths showcasing their work to expand internet access, improve teen health resources, and support youth employment and development.
With hands-on activities, demos, food, and entertainment, there’s something for everyone in the family. Don’t miss out on discovering new ways to get active, improve your well-being, and connect with local resources that make life in Nevada County even better.
