Nevada City, Calif. – Today the Nevada County Registrar of Voters, Armando Salud-Ambriz, certified the results of the Nov. 4, 2025 Statewide Special Election. The final turnout for this election totaled 51,723 ballots cast, representing 66.32% of 77,986 registered voters in Nevada County.
This included:
- 47,300 vote-by-mail ballots
- 1,558 in-person early voting ballots cast prior to Election Day
- 2,619 in-person ballots cast on Election Day
- 246 conditional/provisional voter registration ballots
“Certifying my very first election is truly an honor,” said Salud-Ambriz. “I want to thank our outstanding elections staff for their professionalism and commitment, and our voters for making Nevada County one of the top four counties in California for voter participation.”
