NEVADA CITY, Calif. June 12, 2026 – The latest updates by the Nevada County Elections Office for the June 5 Primary show an additional 13,281 ballots processed for a total of 42,679. At this time, both Nevada City and Union Hill school district measures are passing and Truckee’s Measure K (transportation sales tax) is 10% above the required threshold.
The remaining 757 ballots to be processed include 645 to be duplicated due to damage, 10 provisional ballots and 112 Conditional voter registration (CVR) provisional ballots. An additional 185 ballots are waiting for voters to verify/update their signature.
