The Nevada County Historical Landmarks Commission is delighted to announce the release of the 2026 electronic edition of Exploring Nevada County. Originally compiled by prominent local historian, the late David Comstock, it has been updated by Bernard Zimmerman, the current chair of the Nevada County Historical Landmarks Commission and published as an e-guide by You Bet Press (www.youbetpress.com).

The 2026 edition will guide you to over 250 landmarks scattered throughout Nevada County. It also contains numerous hypertext links to Wikipedia, newspaper articles and other sources which provide more information on the historical significance of the site.
