NEVADA CITY, Calif., June 25, 2026 – The Nevada County Elections Office has released the official final results for the June 2, 2026 Statewide Direct Primary Election.
Voter turnout in Nevada County was 57.04% with 43,469 ballots cast out of 76,204 registered voters. Statewide turnout stands at 40.8%.
Voters who returned a ballot with a missing signature or a signature that could not be compared to the voter registration record were mailed a notification and a form to resolve the issue. To have their ballot counted, voters had to return the completed form to Nevada County Elections by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24.
145 ballots were not processed due to a lack of response by the voter.
