Grass Valley, CA (Sept. 29, 2026) — Scotts Flat Reservoir will host Race 3 of the 2026 California DIRT Mountain Bike Series on Oct. 3 and 4. The event features cross-country and short-track racing and supports the Youth Bicyclists of Nevada County Foundation.
To accommodate race staging and event safety, the Nevada Irrigation District (NID) will close the Scotts Flat boat launch during the event weekend.
Boat Launch Schedule:
- Oct. 2: Closing at 3 p.m.
- Oct. 3: Closed
- Oct. 4: Closed
The campground and day-use areas will remain open. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead if they intend to launch watercraft during these dates.
